The Water Cycle

We have been learning about Earths Hydrosphere – The Water Cycle.  We have been learning big words like Precipitation, Condensation and Evaporation.

I wonder what will happen to our planet Earth if there was no Hydrosphere System?

This term we are learning about one of Earth's Natural Systems - The Hydrosphere.

We have looked at different water collections and classified them into Natural and Manmade Systems.

Our shared book this week is called

“Smarty Pants”.

We created our own clown pictures using Pic Collage on the Ipads. The we wrote stories about ourselves using the words “I can….”.

To end our unit on Money,

we created Money Boxes.  

We shared our thoughts of what we

would like to save for.

Yesterday we joined with Room 16 to listen to a special visitor.

Her name was Nicky. She is from ASB bank.  

She came to talk to us about money.

We looked at her big coins and notes and helped her put them in sequence.

She talked to us about money and how we could use 3 jars.  

1 for saving money, 1 for sharing money with, and 1 for spending money.
